Red Rocks | Morrison, Colorado

Every day for the past 2 weeks I’ve fallen a little bit more in love with Colorado. It’s impossible not to. There is such immense, staggering beauty everywhere.

Today I drove out to Red Rocks to hike. Here’s what I found.

  1. I miss u!! Im at camp concordia. Came up tonight…wemt canoeing for the first time ♡♡♡

Its good to live life instead of rot :( :)

  2. Wow! I really love the clarity of these photos, as well as the complement between the earthy reds and lush greens.

I also found the rock formations themselves to be really interesting and how they are arranged, almost as if someone picked them up said “wow, it looks really good here” — nature has a way of doing that, right?

I also really liked the composition of the last photo and the layering between the forestry, the rocky red formation, the shaded mountain in the background, and the bright, white sky in the backbackground — I think it’s a really good depiction of negative space and contrast.
